  • Meet your Microsoft Associate Trainers

As a Microsoft Global Training Partner, XMA also work with a number of Associate trainers to carry out consultancy work.

All with a variety of educational backgrounds from across the UK, they bring with them a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience. Like our in-house training team, they are all educators who empower teachers to reflect on their teaching practice, facilitate discussions and show what’s possible with Microsoft tools to make learning deeply personal for every learner.

Like us, our Associate Microsoft Trainers are experts on the realities of integrating technology into learning environments and work closely with XMA & Microsoft to foster innovation in education.

What can the team help with?

  • Microsoft products & tools

An important part of becoming a Global Training Partner is being able to demonstrate and share expert knowledge and understanding of how learning and teaching can be transformed with Microsoft technology.

  • While we are not expected to be experts in infrastructure, device management and enrolment or third-party education tools, we do work with an excellent team of Microsoft Solution Experts. We know what great teaching and learning looks like and we are able to identify opportunities when technology can really transform a learning experience. Our Training team is constantly refreshing our knowledge of teaching and the core Office 365 tools, features and services relevant to education so that we can provide the most up to date hands-on and immersive coaching & mentoring for both teachers and learners.

  • We are all part of the Microsoft Educator Community and have a wealth of experience in education. Accredited by Microsoft, it is a prerequisite that we are GTC registered and continue to develop our practice in line with GTC professional update. This ensures an expert level of knowledge and skills to deliver sessions which combine excellent pedagogy, content and a way of using Microsoft tools and products which is meaningful, innovative and accessible for all.

  • Demonstrations

For the GTP PD session, we prepare and deliver live demonstrations to group of max 24 teachers, which model how specific Microsoft tools & features can enhance specific learning and teaching goals. This is the result of the Envisioning and Curriculum Planning sessions provided (dedicated customer meeting with clear suggestions on potential solutions).

We always include clear learning intentions for participants and strong links to the Pedagogy and National Priorities while demonstrating confident, skilled use of the Microsoft tools.
