Where we came from

XMA was established as a family run business in the 1980s and we quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the top ten largest value-added resellers in the UK. We are proud of our British roots, with regional offices across the country.


XMA began life as Elganhurst Limited in Nottingham, supply computer equipment and consumables


Elganhurst Limited had reached a £1 million turnover, changed its company name to XMA Limited and move to its new offices in Nottingham


In 2007, we were acquired by the Westcoast group and became part of a £1.4 billion, British owned group


We acquired Viglen and moved our office to St Albans, which is now our Head Office


XMA acquired Data Select (Peter Jones company) which enhanced our portfolio with Samsung, O2, EE and 5G


We separated from the Westcoast Group to become a fully-fledged independent company


We acquired Capito – service delivery company based in Scotland


We continue to invest in people, systems, and operations. With a strong board in place, we are set to drive our business forward and make a real difference across public sector and corporate markets.
