Have yourself a very Techie Christmas

Emails ding, are you listening?

Whether you’re planning on watching The Grinch for the 518th time, preparing for the annual Christmas Trivia family board game, or gathering last minute bits and bobs, we are in full festive swing.

In the spirit of this tech-induced time, we have come up with some technology inspired Christmas riddles to rattle your nutcrackers. Fancy yourself as a XMAs-Tech whizz? Show us what you’ve got!

“What’s in it for me?”

In this celebratory season of giving, if all three riddles plus the bonus riddle are answered correctly, we will donate £10 to our chosen charity, Shelter.

Shelter support and advise millions of people facing homelessness or experiencing housing issues, pledging they won’t stop until there’s a safe, secure and affordable home for everyone. Shelter help people by organising face-to-face appointments, have a free national emergency helpline open 365 days a year, offer an online web chat, and provide legal support. Recently, they announced how London has the highest rate of homelessness in the UK. Let’s work together and care for those less fortunate than ourselves.

We're Gonna Rock Down To Riddle Avenue

Follow the trail to reach the donation pot of gold.
If you answer the first 3 techie Christmas riddles correctly, we will donate £5 to Shelter.

Riddle 1

“I’m with you, I’m around you, but you cannot see me.
I appear, I take, but you cannot hear me.”

Riddle 2

“You use me everyday, but I’m never there,
You watch me as I look back and stare.
Your thumbs they do cover,
In appreciation we suffer,
Surrounded by sticks, curves, and pointed clutter.”

Riddle 3

“I know you very well, what words you cannot spell,
I see your deleted words, sentences that did not go so well.”

Bonus Round

Now it's time to get serious - it's the final round.
You are playing for double money, yes - that's right, answer the bonus riddle correctly and we'll donate £10 to Shelter.

Riddle 4

“Surrounded by the new,
Joining space, technology and you.
Exploring new pathways, digital and real,
An encompassing environment to seal the deal.”
